This little girl was not so enthusiastic to stand in front of a wall of her home for us.
The leopards populate a wide area called Leopard Hills of Jawai - but there is no specific park or fence or sanctuary. The leopards live in harmony with the villages. There have been no attacks on humans - a few small animals gone but no serious confrontations.
We waited quite a distance from a rocky hill and were focused on a cave where a mother and two large cubs were living. Near dusk the mom appeared - this is she. Later the younger ones came out but it was too dark.
