Wednesday, 29 November 2017 - Spent the morning in old Delhi with our guide seeking real street scenes-starting at the chaotic train station and taxi stands, walked through bustling market alleys with vendors, animals, and spice stalls, captured people bathing, carts laden with goods, colorful piles of nuts, dates, and spices, and enjoyed the vibrant, everyday life of the city's streets.

Our last day on the photography tour was in Delhi. In the morning we headed out to the old town. We told our guide we had been to Delhi several times and did not need to see the typical tourist things - instead we wanted to see real street scenes.

It all started with the chaos of the train station and the taxis.

Spices in the second tier spice market. It was very refreshing to be at the spice market, which was not the one in the old city but one on the edge of the old city. It is here that the goods which are not prime are sold.
