Tuesday, 28 November 2017 - Begun the day with a lakeside morning in Udaipur photographing birds like kingfishers and reflections, wandered the old town streets capturing temples, markets, shrines, and colorful doors, enjoyed scenes across Lake Pichola and Gangaur Ghat, then returned to the hotel and flew onward to Delhi after breakfast.

india2017 — This poor kingfisher ran into the window of the restaurant - it was stunned and sat on the chair for quite a while getting its bearings. It finally flew off.

india2017 — The Monsoon Palace built in 1884. The palace was used in the 1983 James Bond film Octopussy as the residence of Kamal Khan, an exiled Afghan prince.

india2017 — After breakfast we headed into the old town part of Udaipur

india2017 — The Mohan Mandir was built between 1628 and 1652 by Jagat Singh. It is an uncomplicated structure that looks like the temple but does not have a deity.
