Wednesday, 22 November 2017 - Arrived at our hotel in Dasada overlooking a reservoir, photographed the Mir tribe women and children in colorful clothing and jewelry, watched local herdsmen guide cows along the highway, and explored the hotel's flowering gardens, ponds, and craft vendors for portraits and street photography.

Our hotel was on a ridge overlooking a reservoir which was beautiful - especially at sunrise. However, the government elections were coming up, so the local farmers were given permission to pump more water for irrigation - on the day we arrived. We were assured that the pumps would be turned off by nightfall - they were not and went constantly for the entire time we were there.

There are many sights on the roads - cars going the wrong way, all kinds of animals, people... but a herd of cows? Right down the divided highway blocking traffic.

The hotel property was very pretty - many flowering plants. .

At the hotel a Mir tribe sold crafts and were willing to pose for the tour group. They wore quite a bit of jewelery - even the young girls.
