There was a bus in the parking lot with a driver, and it was 0600 in the morning. Cal was inquisitive who would be up so early. He made his way down to the lake's edge and there was a group of 30 people there. All holding hands and looking across the lake toward the mountains. Then, as he set up, they began chanting - sounded like a generator had started.
They continued to chant for a period then stopped. There were a few brief speeches about nature and love. Once the sun had risen they left. An interesting encounter!
