Up early and headed west. We briefly entered West Virginia from Pennsylvania.
Looks like a wet day. We had rain suits to ride in the rain which we would use several times. They were not perfect and after a few miles you could feel the rain seeping in.
We would enter Chicago and work our way to the western suburb of Evanston - where Cal was born. Here we would spend the night with Jim and Dody DiIorio family friends of the Holmans.
