Traveling in Southeast Asia

Tuesday, 7 February 2023 - Awoke to breakfast aboard the Ha Long Bay boat, enjoyed morning kayaking around limestone islands and fishing boats, spotted Black Kites hunting over the water, admired volcanic-like rock formations rising from the bay, and spent the day relaxing on the boat with wonderful food, cabin comfort, and fellow travelers while slowly moving back toward the dock.

Great dinner and sound sleep in our ship suite. We awoke to a full breakfast as the sun struggled to get through. We pulled up anchor and moved while we ate.

All morning we stayed in the same position, so people could take kayaks out and paddle around.

We began moving back to the dock - again passing the tall islands of limestone.

It was a great adventure on the boat - wonderful cabin, great food, and nice people. We just wished they would have sailed more.
