Friday, 4 November 2022 - Drove a long 8-hour day from Fez to the Sahara, arriving in the late afternoon, hiked into the towering sand dunes, watched the sunset and moonrise over the desert, experienced the golden light and rippled sands, then rode camels out to the highest dune near the camp before nightfall.

We arrived in the Sahara in the late afternoon. Cal immediately went for a hike into the sand dunes.

This is as far as Cal ventured and then headed back to the camp.
We then mounted camels for a trip to the highest dune near the camp for sunset.

guests wait in the distance.

Now at the top of the big dune the sun is getting low on the horizon making for nice shadows.
