Sunday, 30 October 2022 - Spent a relaxed day taking photos in Chefchaouen with local photographer Ahajam Soufian, explored the city's famous blue alleys and courtyards with vibrant blue walls, captured portraits and street scenes, wandered narrow walkways and public fountains, and enjoyed the charming patterns and colors throughout the blue city.

We were met by Ahajam Soufian, a professional photographer specializing in portrait photography. He grew up and lived in Chefchaouen and took us to all his favorite places. Cal could take pictures and at the same time Ahajam took portraits of us.

morocco2022 — Moorish windows - note the electrical line snaking on the outside of the home. The walls are so thick many of the wires run along the outside of the homes.

morocco2022 — We had climbed to the top of the city for a view during sunset - and ran into a small heard of sheep heading for home.
