Wednesday, 15 April 2015 - Woke to early morning views of the river waking up, then hiked up into Carbonite Canyon exploring old mine sites and fossils before returning to Havasu Falls to photograph new angles of the travertine pools and finished the day with sunset light on the falls.

We had some downtime so I hiked to the top of the canyon for some pictures of the whole canyon.

After lunch we took a hike into Carbonite Canyon where there are old mining sites and
fossils - the valley winds back to finally end at a slot canyon coming down from the top
of the canyon.

It was a fun hike, and we found several small fossils.
Back at Havasu Falls we walked across the pools to take some pictures from angles we had
not explored.
