Wednesday, 12 February 2025 - At sea, passing a few islands in the morning with sunlight breaking through clouds, visiting the ship's bridge in the afternoon to observe navigation and instruments, learning about the ship's electric motors and diesel generators, and ending the day watching a beautiful sunset at sea.
Early in the morning we pass a couple of islands.
The sun pokes through the clouds to create nice light for the island.
Sharp rocks would make this area dangerous.
In the afternoon we visit the bridge for an hour.
Here are three ship's officers. One is the navigator, one watches the instruments,
and one is the lookout. Three in the bridge is the minimum.
