Virginia Ann had a yet another birthday cake. It was a fun birthday at our friends, Bill and Stephanie Ramsey, house. We took Riley and she promptly took over the bed of Carmen, a much larger standard poodle.
Riley is cute, she spends a lot of time resting, here she is in her favorite chair.
Late in December into January Cal took a trip to Antarctica to photograph Penguins. The trip included Antarctica, South Georgia (where there are a lot of penguins), and the Falklands. After the cruise Cal then spent some time in Argentina after the trip to photography Iguazu Falls.
In April Virginia Ann and Cal traveled to Turkey for a little over two weeks exploring Istanbul and then traveling to the west coast driving south along the coast visiting ancient sites like Troy and Emphasis. After reaching Bodrum we flew to Cappadocia to see the cities and churches carved out of rock. It was a very successful trip - we enjoyed Turkey.
