Monday, 26 February 2024 - Another early morning to photograph the rising sun at the Grand Canyon with a short walk to Yavapai Point, enjoyed the soft light on the canyon walls and views of the Colorado River and Phantom Ranch, then after breakfast wrapped up the workshop and drove back to Phoenix with lots of great photos.
Another cloudy morning over the Grand Canyon. And the wind was making the 30 degrees feel even
colder.
An interesting rock formation jutting out into the canyon.
It is so beautiful when the sun hits the red rocks of the Grand Canyon.
The morning light really emphasizes the colors.
Soft light. Plateau Trail is visible in the lower part of the photograph as is the Colorado River.
While looking about with the telephoto lens, I spotted Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
After we returned the workshop was over. I had a delicious Mexican breakfast then drove back to Phoenix.
