Friday, 20 October 2023 - Traveled back to Phoenix from Canyon de Chelly with stops at the Hubbell Trading Post to explore the historic site and learn about its connection to artist Elbridge Ayer Burbank, photographed Cottonwoods and the farm property, and had lunch at the historic La Posada Hotel in Williams, Arizona, enjoying the gardens and ironwork details while taking pictures along the way.

We were fortunate enough to participate in a tour of the Hubbell home by Elvis Burbank of the National Park Service. He was a descendant (he thinks) of artist Elbridge Ayer Burbank who painted at the trading post for several years.

Our next stop was the Historic La Posada Hotel in Williams where we had a wonderful lunch.

After lunch, we wandered around taking pictures.
